My name is Liz Stewart-Miranda. I am a licensed high school Biology and Chemistry teacher in Massachusetts. I have been teaching science in a vocational high school setting since 2009 and taught college prior to that as well as engaged in one-to-one tutoring with elementary aged students. I love to teach science using hands-on methods and fun, interactive activities.
Although I have taught in all types of classrooms, I specialize in working with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and for whom English is a second language.
Additionally, I am also a curriculum consultant, developing science curriculum for other schools. And, I also provide professional development to other teachers in pedagogy and new technology for instruction. To that effect, I am currently certified as an Edulastic Educator, a GoGuardian Certified Teacher, and am a Level 2 Google Certified Educator.
